FEATURED HEADER DESTINATION ...... Palma de Mallorca, Majorca (Spain)
Sailing into port while on the MSC Lirica Cruise Ship in 2003, I was able to snap this view from the deck as we approached the Port of this beautiful City. The magnificent Gothic cathedral whose sandstone walls and flying buttresses makes an appearance that seems to rise out of the sea. The cathedral La Seu stands out from its surroundings, a demonstration of the might of Mallorca's Christian conquerors to all who arrived by sea.
